Flights
Franschhoek is about an hour's drive from Cape Town International Airport. United operates a nonstop flight from Newark to Cape Town. There are more affordable options flying via Europe. If you're planning on going on safari before the wedding, you may also consider flying into Johannesburg as most of the game lodges are in the north of the country.
Qantas and South African Airways operate direct flights from Perth to Johannesburg. There are very frequent two-hour domestic flights from Johannesburg to Cape Town.

There are many great hotels in the Franschhoek/Stellenbosch region, but you won't find any large resorts. Part of this area's appeal lies in the small, boutique accommodations. New Year's is the region's busiest time of year — so if you plan to celebrate with us please reserve accommodation immediately!
Local hotels unfortunately do not offer room blocks, and we have no “holds” to guarantee availability.

Airbnb and VRBO have a variety of incredible options in the area! Make sure you're not too far from the venue. If you go this route you may have to arrange your own transport to/from the venue — but Ubers are plentiful and inexpensive.
